Why We exist.......
In the heart of Dallas–Fort Worth, behind the bustling highways and growing skylines, thousands of families quietly struggle to meet their basic needs. The numbers don’t lie:
-
1 in 5 children in North Texas faces food insecurity.
-
Over 4,000 youth in DFW experience homelessness each year — many without access to consistent care, shelter, or safe environments.
-
Single-parent families and working households often have to choose between hygiene essentials, school supplies, rent, or transportation.
But these statistics are more than numbers — they represent lives caught in systems that often overlook them.
That’s where MAZE Resource Center steps in.
We’re not a one-time giveaway table. We’re a community-anchored resource hub committed to providing free, ongoing, and judgment-free support to families and youth — with dignity.
We serve:
-
Families in crisis
-
Teens in unstable housing or shelter programs
-
School social workers and counselors seeking partner resources
-
Local churches, juvenile programs, and nonprofit collaborations
Through strategic partnerships, a monthly distribution system, and seasonal community events, we bridge the gap between struggle and stability. At MAZE, we believe that free doesn’t mean low-quality — it means barrier-free. We make access simple, direct, and compassionate — because the families we serve don’t need more hoops… they need real help.
This is why we exist. To meet real needs. To honor real stories. And to clear a path forward.
